Need permission to save office documents in windows 10?

Specs: Windows 10
I try to save as normal, but it keeps telling me I can't save here because I need administrator permission. Any ideas were I get those permissions? Then asks me if I would like to save it somewhere else. annoying!!!!

What location are you trying to save to? Some folders will be locked as they are system folders.

Is this a personal computer or company?

Are you logged in as the administrator?

Have you tried saving to the desktop or perhaps a usb pen drive just to see if it saves?

Try navigating to My Documents folder manually and save. If it fails, double check if you opened Word as Administrator.

First, what version of Office are you running when you upgraded to Windows 10?
Second, Microsoft acknowledged there are some known issues with Office and Windows 10. Check THIS out to see if any of the workarounds addresses your problem. If not I would simply reinstall Office.
