I had Avast at $19 a year and now they want $96 which is not in my budget. I live in a retirement community where WIFI is provided free and know I need the VPN. Looked at CNET and it only confused me. Do not need frills just want secure computer...free.
"Looked at CNET"
Cnet bundle a lot of stuff with programs on their site.
Use Softpedia.Opera & other browsers have a built in VPN, try that first.

Don't need a browser, etc....spyware sometimes. I use duckduck.com & more than happy. Just need a free no frills VPN. Looked at your suggestions, but they will not be what I need. Thanks for reponse, but someone out there knows what I'm looking for. Don't want stuff that will slow down my speed or change my amount of memory. Hope to hear soon....THX all!!!!

Spyware can be everywhere.
I install huge amounts of programs, no slowness, as an example, I have all these browsers installed.

A lot of programs, now give you the choice to install toolbars & other during the install. Either uncheck these items during install, or use Custom install. No more click, click during an install, you have to read after each click. Or, Use Unchecky to help prevent these third party installs. Nothing is perfect, the badies are always ahead of the goodies, so be vigilant.
