Mobile phone windows boot

Specs: Windows 10, AMD Quad Core a12-9720p 12gb
Hi guys, I've got a new HDD for an old laptop, and I'm trying to install windows on it but I have no USB stick to boot it from and I've done some research & found out about an app called DriverDroid which would work. During the set up, one of the steps says I've got to connect the phone to the laptop first and set it up from there.

Is there a way around it since there's no Windows installed on the HDD yet?

EDIT: More info. The Droid app is asking me for root and that is done by some other apps that I've looked up, and all of them seem to have really bad reviews for not working.

Just buy a USB stick. They cost next to nothing.

I'm in no situation to buy it right now, quarantine has me holed up! Wouldn't bother anyone here if I could.

Amazon and get them to mail it to you. Likely arrive next day or the one after.

Go for a larger than smaller capacity, to ensure you have enough space for all that all that’s needed on it.

What make and model is this laptop?

Do you have a windows dvd?

Does the laptop have a dvd drive?

And why the involvement of a mobile/cell phone?

Will this laptop be compatible with (presumably) windows-10?
