I have Window 10 on my family computer. There are 4 users each with their own separate logins.
When one of the users logs on their start menu icon does not work and they can’t seem to open up Microsoft edge to get on the internet. It seems to be lost. All other users are ok. they all have Microsoft Edge. How can I get Microsoft Edge back for this user please?

Usually I would recommend tapping the start icon and typing 'Edge' and when the choice comes up just right click on it and select 'send to desktop as a shortcut'. Then when it is later open you can just right click on the icon on the task bar and select 'Pin to taskbar'.
If you cannot get the start icon to work with this user only, that is a really unusual problem.
If it is not too much trouble you may want to make a new user for them and later as the admin copy the contents of the user folders from the old user to the new user if all works well.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
