my laptop seem to be over heating ..fan makes loud noise and laptop gets hot ..I recently updated to windows 10 but it always seemed to get hot
There are various ways to clean out a laptop to stop it overheating. The most easiest is to blow out the vents with some compressed air. Make sure that you put something in between the cooling fan to stop it spinning too fast, something like a tooth pick, Alternatively if you feel up to it you can dismantle the laptop take out the heatsink and fan and thoroughly clean them and replace the cpu thermal compound too. I did this recently on a Todhiba and its running very cool. Was about 72 degres on idle and would shutdown when a browser was opened, now its running at around 42 degrees on idle and no more shutdown.

I agree with the above , proper way is to dismantle and service the components As a work-around you could get a laptop cooling stand
Laptops will only keep cool for a few years until the insides start either clogging with dust , or the heat transfer materials dry up and become ineffective
