Set the region and keyboard settings to reflect where you are. Keyboard layouts vary according the language/region you select.

I would never have thought of that for sure. Without being able to find @, i cannot complete setup. Using my smartphone here. Thankyou.

Did you try Shift + 2 like any other keyboard?

In-case you need further help - post the details of the actual model laptop you have; there are "many" Lenovo laptops (as there are many other makes too).

Yes i tried shift + 2. The problem was country/region setup. Thanks.
