Acer / Aspire 5738-6969

Specs: Windows 7, SP1, 4 GB
My Aspire notebook has Windows 7, SP1. I hesitate to go for installing Win 10 OS though all is fine w/ Win 7 SP1. I want to wait at least 2-3 yrs. until Microsoft comes with any SP1 etc. . . .

Is above idea advisable OR not ! ! !

✔ Best Answer
Before going over to W10 check Acer's web site to see if they have driver support for it for W10. Also note that some older printers are not supporting Windows 10. Windows will install default drivers for these but if it is an all in one printer, it will only have basic support for the printing part, not the copy or scan parts.

10. I forget what the first major feature release was called, but what Microsoft's calling the Creators Update is being released with this month's patches.
