Solved I have Windows 10 pro but get format no supported

Specs: Windows 10 Pro
I have Windows 10 pro on an HP Pavilion A6000n computer and when you try to boot up it gets to the windows logo then fails and displays "format not supported". I suspect the issue is in the resolution not being set low enough for the Sylvania flat screen TV I am using as a monitor. I had it working the other day and now it won't.

Start up in safe mode:

Then, assuming it's a video setting, adjust it to a lower resolution compatible with your display.

(Disregard my previous message here. It applied to earlier windows versions.)
