on my new computer I have a product serial number where do I go to do the installation page is very confusing with all questions asked.
What "Installation Page" are you viewing? Did you download the software on your old computer, or did you have installation media? Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)
The best answer will be: do not install Norton.
If you do not like that answer then you can go to their web site and look for the support pages and FAQ's where there should be others who needed the download. If not then there should be a place to ask the question of them since you paid them for it.
I would recommend using a better free antivirus program, Norton and McAfee are both system hogs and use too much of your system resources while being mediocre at best. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
Echoing the above... Don't bother with it... Install something like Bitdefender or possibly Avast. Both are well regarded, and have free versions. Some prefer Bitdefender over Avast, and some visa-versa of course.
