I have a completely blank window that won't go away.

Specs: Windows 10
Hello! I have internet explorer on my pinned with a white line under it. What I don't get, is that when I click it, it shows an entire blank screen. No search bar. Only a minimize, expand, and the exit bars. Every time I click the exit bar, the tab goes away, but internet explorer still has it up the same way. How do I get rid of this? I've tried so many times to get demolish it but end up with the same results!

Any virus/malware/adware scans done on the machine? That would be my first suggestion...

What is your normal IE home page? Has it been replaced by this blank page or can you still get to it?

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options to check the home page.

I made a very simple HTML page, saved it on my computer,
and made that my home page. If your problem is with the
home page you can probably fix it just by changing the home
page to anything you want, but changing it to one that you
make yourself will give you complete control.

How has it been solved? It's not fair to ask people to help you and then just say "problem solved", especially when multiple suggestions have been offered.

The solution may help others, so please share.
