I doubt you need deep knowledge to answer my question...

Microsoft Windows xp home edition eng 3p...
August 18, 2019 at 10:54:03
Specs: Windows 10, 64 bit OS/4 GB
I want to add a Firefox addon which I've done numerous times, but the Addon page format has changed and I'm dumbfounded. When I go to the addon page (can be for any addon) and I see loads of information -- everything one could want to know about that addon --- except I don't see where to click to download it. I couldn't find the link, nor could my wife. I'm having to set up a clean Win10 install and I'm thwarted until I resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It would help to know which add-on you're looking for. Let's use Adblock as an example. Type it into the search & there were be several versions listed. Click the one you want then click Add to Firefox

It could be a legacy add-on that no longer works on the newer Firefox
but hasn't been removed from the list yet.

Also it should say Install or Add to Firefox I don't remember it every saying to download.

Recently, Firefox has been very busy changing ... Firefox, and I also spotted some very weird behaviour. I think that some add-ons allow installation (straight into Firefox) from the home site of that plug-in. You know, plug-in software is software like other software, and the Add-on page in Firefox itself is not the only way of installing/removing/configuring these Plug-ins.
