What works for me is [left shift] + [ctrl]

Here is an example of before and after:

!@#$%^&*()_+

!"#$%&_()'?~

good luck ;)

Are "all" other keys responging correctly -l etters, numbers and symbols all typing as per the symbol etc. shown on the individual keys?

When you say "does not work" do you mean that it produces nothing, or do you mean that it produces the wrong character? What about the key to the right of the ";" key. What do you get when you press it with and without shifting?

It may be that you have the wrong keymap specified for your keyboard. What language layout is your keyboard (US, UK, French, or what?)

If you have the wrong language setup then shift plus £ or shift plus $ might do it

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
