There is a 32-bit version of cardfile that was included with windows NT3.51 that seems to work on windows 10 x64. I have uploaded this version to my google drive if you would like a copy?
There is no cardfile for win-10, nor win-7, 8x... I have used this with great success in the past. It opn cardfile records, and will import them too.
Perhaps cnsider, have a look-see?

If you search for
cardfile for windows 10
you will get the above and an assortment of other options too.
In your searches. if (as it seems) you have a 64 bit computer, remember that although it will run 32 bit it will never run any old 16 bit programs that you find. Note that there is no such operating system as Windows 64. If you mean Windows 10 64 bit then please ammend your spec to say so.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Card file died as it were with XP, which is how I came to look for a replacement.

Ye gods... that is an odd one... How dun that slip past M$-land software types... I'm guessing it's the same version as was shipped with NT4 as well - possibly included n W2K too; although can't recall just now.
Takk for the update - and the download; I'm sure that will be "yewsfool to a phew" in the long run...
Thomasad, You are my hero! I got a new laptop and couldnt run my trusted friend, cardfile.exe. You were so kind to have uploaded to your Google drive.
Thank You from the bottom of my heart. It looks a little "stretched" but I am so happy to know I can still use it. All my thanks to you :) Happy New Year!
