Specs: Windows 10, AMD A8/4 Gb
I recently install Windows 10 version 1703. I now no longer have Control Panel in the Start Menu. I also do not have Display in the Control Panel.

I can get to the Control Panel by doing a search in the Start Menu but can not get to Display.

Can these two icons be reinstalled? If so, how?

Thank you.

Screen saver: Settings -> Personalization -> Lock screen -> Screen saver settings
Multi-monitor: Settings -> System -> Display -> Multiple displays
Alt. Multi-monitor: Notification icon -> Project

Control Panel was removed with that update. You can get to most features via Settings Cog, including Display. The first three letters will usually find Control Panel in Search. If you want a desktop shortcut to Control Panel use the following in its shortcut:

%windir%\system32\control.exe

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Derek,

I looked at Settings>personalization but that did not help. I currently have a screen saver that I can not change or remove. Additionally, I use my laptop (the computer I am using for this email) to run an external monitor but can no longer find the settings needed for this procedure.

Thank you.

Try right clicking on the desktop.

riider,

Thank you for your suggestion; unfortunately, it did not work. It brought me to Settings>personalization but that did not allow me to change screen saver or use multiple monitors.

Thanks again,
Brian W

rrider,

I made a mistake; after clicking different icons in Settings>personalization, I found "screen saver settings" in Lock Screen.

Thank you.
