Solved How to recover the default Windows Explorer in Win )

Specs: Windows 10, 8gig
Was reclaiming space on my Win 10 system which do from time to time and never do i have any problems. On this occasion, however, I discovered that my explorer had all but disappeared, making it very difficult to navigate. I created a work round by creating a folder called "My Computer"and copying destination folders to it. It works after a fashion but it will be good to recover the original installation

Here I would have inserted 2 images here but I ca't remember how to do it... perhaps a member who remembers me will help in this regard (or both perhaps)

Your post is a little confusing, can you press the Windows key and E to bring up Explorer?

A friend mine showed me how to use the drop down info in the masthead and I have re-created the explorer to virtually what it was but I still don't know how to attach an image to a post.

Thank you all for your help, regards.
