How to print - not save - coupon from email and a recipe

July 16, 2016 at 18:07:24
Specs: Windows 64
I am trying to print a coupon from email and a recipe, neither will print, it just asks me to save it when I click on the print button. I have an XP 420 Epson printer connected to WiFi.

What happens if you save it first; then try printing the saved version?

Equall if you can view the items on-screen, do a print screen - which copies the displayto clip board. then open Word or similar, paste the item from clip board there; then print that.

Usually you get an email notification each time someone has contributed to your post here: and you can of course drop across here to see what etc.?

It should not be a big deal to save it to the desktop, print it, delete it, then empty the recycle bin.
Alternately, you can use the Snipping tool included with Windows to copy just what is on screen or any portion of it. Up to Windows 8, you had to save a snip to print it but with Windows 10 it allows direct printing. Even with older Windows, you are not saving their file, only an image of the screen generated on your computer (safer if you are worried).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Kind of surprised no one's suggested to go into the print settings, and make sure the Epson was set as the printer to use.

It keeps going to save and on't let me print. The only two options are "cancel" and "save".

I have check the printer settings and the Epson 420 IS my default printer.

I have, also, tried sending it to destop, but it won't print it from there, either.

I'm not sure what program you're using to print, but most programs have their own printing options. Those options are based off of your system's settings, but are otherwise independent from the Windows settings.

Can you actually see the information you want to print - on the screen completely?

If so then a simple print screen routine will allow you take a snapshot of it. Then open a Word new document and paste (from clipboard) into the blank document. Save it and then it will print as standard Word document.

It's not clear just what you can and cannot see on the screen; nor what you have tried since pholks here started offering help?

Can you see the complete coupon and/or recipe (each alone ideally)?

If so then have you tried the print screen routines as suggested above?
