. I downloaded a Linux iso file onto a dvd. I can't open because win10 says disk must be formatted for NTSF & yet there is NO option for that. Help
You cant format a DVD with NTFS file system. NTFS works on hard drives and SSD drives only.
Go here and download and install ISOBurn. Then create your disc using this software.It's free, ad and malware free, I use it all the time.

If a file is on a DVD, you cannot format that DVD anymore if you want to retain the data on that discNormally, you have an ISO on anything but a DVD, and then you burn the ISO to the DVD (which uses another format than NTFS/FAT)
