Your laptop's hard drive reports that it can no longer hold your data, and that includes Windows. If the laptop is still under warranty, seek a replacement.

Is there anything on the drive you'd like to recover/save?

If so.. post back for a possible "how to..."

If you send the system back to vendor/manufacturer (at least the drive itself - presuming it's under warranty) you will likely lose all your personal files etc. in the process. Highly unlikely any support team will bother to try to recover/save them for you...

Boot up with a Linux DBD which will load into RAM only. Do NOT install it. Then you can locat/access the hard drive and hopefully copy files to DVDs. Ubuntu.com is one source an ISO which download and burn to a DVD. Boot with that DVD.

Do not try to write or install or save anything to the hard drive.
