a black menu box randomly pops up in lower left corner of screen, and disappears as soon as I click on any spot on the screen. menu: event viewer, device manager, disk manager, computer management, and the list goes on.
That black box will show up if you right click on the start button so something is triggering it to happen. Are you running any programs that use macros or shortcut keys?
I have no macro's running or hot keys turned on. This annoying thing just showed up.
There are too many to list here but if you do a Google search for "right click menu keeps popping up in Windows 10" you will get some good info on repairing this. Here's one article that looks promising.

Thanks for the info and tips. I removed several programs that I no longer used for a printer, and a Team Viewer program. It appears one of those programs was the culprit. The menu box has stopped popping up.
Glad to hear you got it fixed.
Short lived it's back.

Thanks, no further clues there. As THX 1138 said, Google it.

You might try a scan for malware. Start with Malwarebytes, there is a free version and comes highly recommended in here.
