Specs: Windows 10, 4 GB
Windows 10 and related updates are AUTOMATICALLY downloaded and installed on this laptop. But in the 2nd week of April 2018. Following two updates failed to install.

1. 2018-01 Cumulative Update (CU) for Win 10 ver. 1709 for x64 based systems (KB4058258). Later, I found out that all components of above CU were already installed successfully.

2. 2018-04 Cumulative Update (CU) for Win. 10 ver. 1709 for x64 based systems (KB4093112).
This CU was automatically installed successfully after couple of dates. But message for failed to install successfully exists in Updates History.

How can I delete above unwanted Win updates?

Try manually 'scan for updates' and see if Windows Update realizes that the updates were installed and are no longer needed.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

That's normal. It's an updates history so it shows the failed attempt followed by the successful one. It doesn't mean the failed update is there as well. Just disregard it.

Note also that cumulative updates are just that - they replace those that went before so only the latest one matters. Windows only installs the parts of cumulative updates that you need.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
