have you tried the file --> save as... option in excel? (then choose the folder & give the file a name)

✔ Best Answer
Open the files in Excel and go to File>Save As and select the folder you want to save it into and OK it. After you save it to the folder and make sure it is there and you can open it. After that you can delete the original file, probably in your Documents folder (Use the Folder icon on your task bar along the bottom and select the folder marked Documents and look there for the original file.) Excel does not have the file, just the program, you just did not know where to find it. Alternatively you can first go to the Documents folder and do a Copy and go to the new folder and do a Paste, then remove the original file. There is an option for Cut and Paste but if anything goes wrong you might lose the original so it is safer this way.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
