How do i fix my speaker

November 20, 2017 at 05:15:28
Specs: Windows 10
I have an HP laptop, and for some reason the right speaker wont work so the volume is real low. I have went to the control Panel and tried everything I could to make it work. I did a test on the left and it works fine, and then when I test the right there nothing. Could you help, do you have any advise for me. Thank you for your time

in your sound settings, check the balance settings, this setting will increase the volume on one speaker and reduce it on another.

If the levels are equal ie there is no bias to one side then I would suggest it could be a hardware issue. This will require the replacement of the internal speaker.

Thank You, Yes I have tried all of that. I dont know I think its just broke because the 1-9 numbers on the side dont work but the enter does. I am not real sure whats going on. Its just the speakers worked just the other day and now the one dont. I just have a broken computer i think,.

Thank you so much for your advise.

If the 'bad' speaker and non-working keys are on the same side then you have a hardware related issue. Either something was spilled on the laptop or the laptop was dropped on that side are the most likely in this case.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
