Specs: Windows 10
i was swiping upward to browse to the next page and i must have swiped to much from the bottom. I
I suddenly was left with almost half a screen horizontally. I tried to drag it down and using added a mouse to drag it again but I can't seem to get it back to its normal full screen. It shows the task bar wide on bottom.

Tag & drag the taskbar back to it's normal size & place.

Maybe during your attempts to fix it you right-clicked on the Taskbar
and checked "Lock the taskbar". If it is checked, uncheck it, then move
the Taskbar to the position you want, and then check "Lock the taskbar"
(whether or not it was checked before) to keep it from moving again.

Most likely your problem is just grabbing hold of it. Like any window, to
change its size, you grab the edge when the mouse pointer changes to
a double-headed arrow. To move it to a different edge of the screen,
you grab it in any blank area away from the edge.
