how do i copy and transfer thumbnails

Specs: Windows 10
I have large files that I am transferring to a compliance app some thumbnails have 150 pgs... that I need to copy into a new folder on my computer... I have tried several options to copy them without success... Please help

You aren't copying the thumbnails, you need to copy the files.

Click on the file/s you want to copy, (hold down the CTRL key and click on each one to select multiple files) then right click on them and select Copy.
Go to the folder where you want them copied to, right click and select Paste.

If the place you are trying to copy them from are only shortcuts you will need to open the folder that they are actually in in order to copy the files themselves, otherwise you are copying the shortcut and it will only work when the original location is accessible, otherwise they will not work. (this is in addition to the information in the first reply)

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
