No need to change to NTFS.

How are you trying to create a sys image?

NTFS is for hard drives, not for optical media.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

✔ Best Answer
An image programme (usually) handles all file types involved. Certainly Acronis, Easus to name two, have no problems. Just run whichever imaging software you have and it ought to proceed without issues; regardless of which medium you use to store the image - DVD or hard drive.
