How come deleting a FOLDER on USB trigger Error 0x80004005?

September 12, 2016 at 00:01:17
Specs: Windows 10
IDK what I did (and i doubt I did anything) but I made a new folder(s by accident) in my USB right, and when i open it, it has all these random (registry??) folders and files... so I try to delete these folders and it gives me error 0x80004005: Unspecified error. WTH am I meant to do?!

Please either post this on the thread to which it refers or at least give us a link to it on here. There are 1000s of post on this forum so we've no idea which one you are referring to. It is unlikely IDK will happen to stumble across this one.

I couldn't find any other post of yours.

EDIT: Oops - see responses #2 & 3.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

It is possible that IDK is an acronym for "I don't know", in which case this may be an original post/request for help. WTH may be one aswell.

Oh! Thanks Nigel, I guess you are right - I've struck out my response #1. Obviously my education is lacking although I did recognise WTH.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
