Solved how can tell diff between Insider Preview & shipped Win 10?

Specs: Windows 10
Windows Update tried to install the Insider Preview, but I canceled it. Later, when I re-tried the upgrade, it LOOKS like it installed the actual shipped version. Was there any "insider" logo or "beta" logo anywhere in the Insider version to identify it as NOT theshipped version?

To answer your question about how to tell the difference between Windows 10 RTM and Windows 10 Insider Preview (aka Technical Preview) versions is that the latter is tattooed with Preview Build version watermarks shown on the desktop lower right corner and in the System Properties.

XPUSER: Thanks. That's exactly what I needed. It is curious that WU tried to install the Preview, but it obviously corrected itself and I am a happy camper. I've dropped Edge (until RoboForm is able to work with it) and am now looking for something to replace the no-working Spambayes for Outlook. Otherwise, W10 is working great.

Thanks for posting back. I also am a happy camper with Windows 10. The glitches we hear about through the internet IMO affects only a very tiny percentage of users out of the millions who have updated to the new family of Windows 10 Editions
