I am wanting to view a CD which its file system is CDFS on my windows 10 laptop but media player is unable to read it
Can you view other CDs? CDFS is quite normal. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
CDFS is the file system used on CD's and has nothing to do with your media player not being able to view the files. Most likely your media files are in a format that Media Player doesn't' have the proper codecs to read. You could try loading a video player that has the correct codecs such as VLC media player. It will play just about any media file.
What type of files are you trying to view?
If you open the CD drive are the files showing and what type are they? Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
yes I have played other DVD's and CDs ok but this one is a re-writeable DVD and for some reason will not play
Re-writeables can often be tricky especially if produced on a different machine. Does it run on any other device? What sort of CD is it, audio, pictures or whatever? Best put it on a normal CD-R.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
