If your CD/DVD didn't work in Windows, simply open the Device Manager, search the CD/DVD device and delete the entry.

After that, restart Windows.
Windows will find the CD/DVD at boot up and will install the driver for it automatically.

After that, your CD/DVD should work as expected.

I do apologize for the lateness here and I thought I responded yesterday. My system went blue screen and I wasn't able to try anything you may have provided. The past 48 hrs was devoted to work and getting this running and had limited access and time. Again I apologize since I know several had tried assisting me with these issues. I know where to come in the future.
