Game crashes, keyboard disconnects, can't restart

October 31, 2016 at 10:15:26
Specs: Windows 64
Hello.
I hope I'm not off topic because I won't ask about computing, but a friend of mine advised this forum if I've got any trouble with my computer.
.. And as the case may be, I've got quite a worrying problem since a Windows 10 update.

Several weeks ago a Windows 10 update downloaded and installed itself automatically and since the next restart of my computer, I got a more and more recurring problem.

When I play a game, it now often crashes blank and I can't close it even if I stop the process. At the same time my keyboard stops responding anymore (can't type at all, neither in google, nor in the notepad, nor in search windows) . Last but not least if this event occurs, I can't restart my computer, the screen get stuck at "Restarting" with the loading wheel.

It wasn't that problematic at first, but it began to be more and more frequent and now it crashes twice a day. I can't resolve myself to restart my computer by pushing the button all the time, it's too bad for the engine, but I'd like to find an alternative before rebooting the computer to factory state.

My sincerest thanks if you can help me to resolve this issue
I own a Lenovo laptop with a native and official version of Windows 10 in it. Here's the references:

Alternatives:

If you happen to know the KB number of the update you could always uninstall it then see if it is any better after it has re-installed. It might have just glitched.

There is also Windows System Restore, assuming it is switched on, if you know when the trouble came along. It doesn't touch your own stuff.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
