Windows is not free. You will need to either purchase a full version, or an upgrade version.

Where did you get your current version of Windows?

Question: What if I want to do a clean install?
Answer: As much as we know at this moment, after performing the upgrade you can do a reset which will function as a "clean install". I have no information as of yet if customers will get any kind of installation media. At the moment we tell customers to do a reset after upgrade and create a recovery drive from control panel.

I guess doing what I just told you will save you bucks if you chosen to go through the "retail" channels - http://www.windowscentral.com/windo...

so the "reset" will show up somewhere in the control panel after you do the upgrade.. thing is. i have multiple partitions on my PC's.. so i am wondering if its going to do a "recovery" drive for both partitions?? this should be interesting.. I will be waiting for several months before ever getting the free version upgrade.. i may just do as someone else said they will be doing. before i upgrade.. do a complete new install on windows 7 and THEN upgrade to windows 10.. i will see how it goes..
