See what happens if you disable the screensaver.

Windows has a spit screen that you just click the thin down arrow on the top bar of the lower half (or is it the up arrow on the top half?) and that should revert to single screen. I figured this at work when someone invoked the half screen accidentally (it took a couple of tries). I did not know that the screen saver could be half screen, is that even possible?

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Jeff: I do not have W10 but we do at work and at least twice this has happened. I do not remember if it was only in Edge or overall in W10 but I suspect the later. The first time I did not see any way to return to normal and I may have ended up restarting the machine but the next time I noticed the thin arrow pointing (no center line) down and it returned everything to normal and then noticed the apparent arrow that starts it in the same location. I am off until Saturday so I will look into it for more details. I think this began only after one of the last updates to Windows 10. It was annoying at the time but may have some uses similar to arranging two windows either side by side or one above the other.

Screen savers are no longer essential.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
