Hello,

I have a simple question, but I have been staring at it for so long I am stuck.

In regards to time cards, So if cell B3, is total hours for the week 53 hours, I need C3 to pull 40 and the remainder of 13 hours to pull into D3.

What Excel formulas do I use? Tried this =IF(B3>40,B3-40," ") but just pulls the OT number without subtracting the OT amount from B3.

Thanks!

✔ Best Answer
A formula in C3 cannot change the data in any other cell,
it can only display the result of the formula.
