Specs: Windows 10, 2 GB
Hello Every one,
I'm trying to find just the right laptop for me and I'm having a doozy of a time. Alternatively, if anyone here has any suggestions, that'd be great.

Must have:
1+ USB 3.0
16x9 resolution or better
10 hours battery
right-click key on the keyboard
SD card reader
Upgrade-able RAM or at least 8GB
<15" screen
>$1000
Core i8
Pre Window install 10
Nice to have:
Backlit keyboard
2+ USB 3.0
6+ hours battery
<14" screen
eSATA

these seem to match you specs for a decent price(so geth whichever is cheaper):

https://www.anandtech.com/show/1410...

things to note:

Ghrapics comparision: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compa...

cpu comparison: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compa...

or make the step to desktop, get a ~650$ desktop(build it yourself) to beat a 1500$ laptop
desktop specs example:
CPU ryzen 2600
2x4GB 2666MHz (dont forget to enable XMP in the bios)& be sure to be using dual channel
GPU:rx 570
motherboard: B350
some 400~550Watt PSU
30$ case
120$ 60hz screen
240GB or better SSD

comes to 640$:

now to get windows 10 for cheap(20$), use your laptop and install windows media creation tool, use a empty 8GB or bigger usb-stick & "burn" the .img onto the usb stick.

buy a windows 10 license key from one of those buy cheap windows 10 keys.
they usually send the key to your email within minutes.

if at any point you don't understand just ask, or look it up ;)

16:9 is not a resolution, it's an aspect ratio and is not an indicator of how many pixels there are.

Also, any laptop worthy of decent gaming is not going to give you 10 hours or even 6 hours of battery life.
I've got a high end Alienware gaming laptop and playing games at decent graphics settings, I get about half an hour at best. Non gaming but just using something like Word or surfing the net will give me about an hour and a half.
