Solved CeRtain keys wont work unless I pRess shift

Specs: Windows 10
so curently I can't Really use "R" "F" "C" or baCkspaCe without PRessing shift. I've tuRned of stiCky keys and toggle keys, deleted the keyboaRd dRive, Updated it, and I haven't spilled anything on it. Help

Any way you could try another keyboard (if it's a newer machine, a USB keyboard should work).

It's best if you can prove whether it's the keyboard itself before going any further. Maybe a friend can lend you a USB keyboard just to see whether that does the same. It is difficult to prove it any other way.

I wonder how pressing Shift made a difference.

It might be informative to see what scan codes were
generated when pressing the keys with and without
pressing Shift. I wrote a BASIC program that did that
in DOS, using PEEKs and POKEs, so Windows 10
would probably just roll its eyes at me if I tried to run it.
