I'm not one for magic fix-all programs as they often do more harm than good. However I have seen this program used many times on here with success (Win 10). It might be of interest but I understand it takes some time to do its thing:

There is a vague chance that your Edge issues (if not others) will happen to get fixed with the next set of cumulative updates - probably on 10 October.

One parting shot. On Win 10 "restart" resets more than shutting down and starting up again, so if you haven't already tried it is worth a shot. This is because shut down keeps some settings to speed startup.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Perhaps time to go back the cpm systems; or early dos - 3x through to 6x...?

They worked more or less out of the box and updates seldom caused problems; unlike just about every generation of windoze...
