Cannot access MP3 files after upgrade to WIndows 10

Specs: Windows 7, ??
I have all my Mp3's stored on an external HD .. .all Ok before I upgraded from 8.1 to 10.

I now am unable to play any of them from one folder ... I can access folder but get error in Win Media Player / Groove to say they cant get access to file with code Oxc00d11d2

I have tried to go to properties / security / advanced & map as per another folder that contains MP3's that play ok ... but no joy

Please help

Might be worth trying VLC Player rather than try to fix this issue.

The issue occurs either due to Sound Effects of the Speaker which could be enabled or corrupted database in Media Player library. You can disable sound effect via control panel, If this does not work for you clean the database further. If you still want help read
