0xc000000f error rolling back Windows 10 to Windows 8

Specs: Windows 10 Pro, 3.6GHz/8GB
I just tried to switch back to Windows 8 from Windows 10 using start/settings/update&security/recovery....and Windows now fails to start....asking me to input your Windows installation disk - which I don't have. the PC is only two months old. I've tried keeping the power button depressed for 30 seconds, and Shift F8, and taking the power plug out...are there any other ways of completely rebooting my system? Thanks very much

You are usually asked to create recovery media on new computers.

What is the make and model number?

Possibly your computer supplier can help you with recovery facilities.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

it seems that the upgrade does in fact break partition tables during the resize operation.
