Specs: Windows 64
. I am using Windows 10 and did the free upgrade from Windows 7 a while ago. A week or so ago and up until today I have been getting pop ups that say, "Your Windows License Will Expire Soon. You need to activate Windows in Settings."

"up until today I have been getting pop ups that say, 'Your Windows License Will Expire Soon'"

So it was happening up until today?

That means it has stopped happening.
In that case, what do you need help with?

"You need to activate Windows in Settings"

Did you do it?

I think he means "inclusive", badly worded but the problem appears to be ongoing.

The official free upgrade offer expired the end of July 2016. If you upgraded after that then you are not entitled to the upgrade so it is asking for you to activate it with a new key. It this is true, please say so and IF there is a way around purchasing a new copy of Windows 10 someone may have an answer for you. I do not.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Free upgrade is still available for users of "assistive technologies". There is no statement about exactly what this means, but I upgraded last week from Windows 7 Pro, without any problems. I considered occasional use of the screen magnifier (?) being sufficient.

Doesn't that term apply to devices used by people with Disabilities? Maybe Microsoft has their own definition.
