Hello. I am not sure if anyone is familiar with yahoo sitebuilder, which I use to build a website. I recently did a Java update and after that I can no longer open my sitebuilder. I get the error box "Java Virtual Machine Launcher- Could not find main class. Program will exit." I've tried uninstalling java and redownloading/installing it and I've also uninstalled sitebuilder and redownloaded/installed it but I am still getting this error. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Edit: I forgot, I also tried a system restore to go back to a point a few days before I updated java, but after it went most of the way through it said the restore didn't work. So, I tried it with an earlier date and went to bed. This morning I had the same error message.

See if you can uninstall java.

There may be more to this if the restore starts and can't finish. Both of the two suggest to me some data or other greater than minor issue.

Hang up and live.

I've uninstalled Java, deleted it, redownloaded it, reinstalled 3 times. I even used the offline installer. I uninstalled sitebuilder, redownloaded it, reinstalled it 3 or 4 times. I just now did a full system virus scan and it showed no problems. I am still getting the error message.

Wow, this website used to be really helpful. I guess there aren't many people using it anymore. Anyway, I figured it out. I had to go into program files and program data and remove an old jre file that must have been corrupted. I now have the sitebuilder program working. Thanks.
