That's all subjective on how you want your website to function and look, but I find the following very useful, in addition to a few from the aforementioned article:
Subscribe to comments reloaded - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins...
Yet another related posts plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins...
Block spam by math reloaded - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins...

Some of the best plugins for Google Analytics are WordPress, WooCommerce (from a developer perspective), Broken Link Checker, My Page Order, W3 Total Cache.
