I would like to update my database

February 21, 2011 at 05:55:23
Specs: Windows Vista
I am trying to update a database. A person has just created a unique user name and I have verified that it is unique and they go to another page to complete the registration. I created a session to filter this unique user name and update the rest of the record but it is not coming across, in an attempt to determine my error I only asked for the password below but there are about 11 fields in total. I am sure it has something to do with my session variable but not sure what - here is my script:

<%
dim oRecSet, oCM 'declare connection object

set oRecSet = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

oRecSet.Open "Members", objConn, adOpenDynamic, adLockOptimistic, adCmdTable

oRecSet.Filter = "dbMbrs_UsrNm = " & Session("UsrNm")
oRecSet("dbMbrs_PssWrd") = Request.Form("txtBxPssWrd")
oRecSet.Update
oRecSet.close

Set oRecSet = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.RecordSet")

SQL = "SELECT * FROM Members"
oRecSet.open SQL,objConn,0,1,adcmdText

%>
