How to keep a slideshow, an image and a timer on one level

Specs: Xubuntu Linux 14.04 , Celeron D 3.3 gh/1 gb RAM
I'm working on a web site for a local fair. They want to have a JavaScript slideshow in the upper left corner with their logo to the immediate right of that and a counter (counting down the days to the fair) to the right of this. I've placed these in a CSS container and they all appear at the top of the page. However, they're spread across the top of the page and I want them closer together. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This has been resolved. I really should have checked the size of the fair logo first. Lots of empty space on either side. Trimming the off made everything come together. I hope someone else can learn for my lesson. Thanks.
