Hello, I am an economics student and don't know much about computing so would like some help.

Is it possible for me to get prices of items from a supermarket and integrate them someway into my website, so potentially people can see the price of products from my website if they searched that product

"would i need the supermarkets permission?"

Almost certainly. You don't want to be accused of plagiarism. If it was a site where people reported prices (like, then that would likely be different.

If it is just one supermarket or a small chain of locally-owned
supermarkets, write up a description of who you are, what you
want to do, and why you want to do it, and send it to the owner,
asking to discuss it with them in person. Be ready to explain
your plan and to answer their questions.

It is possible or even likely that they are already doing what
you want to do. Do you know?
