How to create a hyperlink from a html file to

Specs: Windows XP
In word it is possible to create a hyperlink to Excel or Pdf.In the same way its to possible in HTML file.

Pls guide me.

In Word 2007, I just go to Insert > Hyperlink, then choose Existing File/Web page from the left pane and the desired file in the right pane. You can also type the text that displays for the link and you're done.

I agree with the above solution but would recommend inserting the file as "object" to maintain the portability of the document.
