This is a UNIX executive file downloaded from an Olympus voice recorder. I need to get into iTunes or another way to hear and transmit it to another Mac computer.
Any further ideas?

Thanks.

Do you mean Unix Executable files

What was the file extension before you downloaded?
Have you tried to add the appropriate extension, IE MP3, M4P, WAV

Sorry. Of course it's Executable. The original extension was.DSS. I did try changing it to mp3 and opening in iTunes which didn't work.

After a quick search,

.dss file type:

http://fileinfo.com/extension/dss

From the Olympus web site:

To play it on ITunes you will have to find mac compatible conversion software.
