Solved open post 53

Specs: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS lucid
Hello,
I've an ubuntu with a dns server. how can i open the port #53 with command line ?

You first have to run a service, before you open a port for this service.
In your case, you have to install dns server, which uses port 53. But you don's have to open port 53 at the external network interface, to get it to work internally.

it's work internally.. i test it with DIG mydomain @IPServer, but i want use externally!

i test it,externally, with http://networking.ringofsaturn.com/...
and the answer is ";; connection timed out; no servers could be reached"

and i test port 53 with
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/o...
and the answer is "post 53 is closed"

You need to configure iptables.
I don't know, whether Ubuntu supports a graphical or textbased iptables configuration tool.

Otherwise, you may read this, to manage opening port 53 permanently.
