Linksys AE2500 on FreeBSD

Specs: FreeBSD, 4GB
I've been all over Google. I have edited all the related config files. If anyone has had success with the Linksys AE2500 wireless adapter on FreeBSD 8.2, please tell me how you did it. I cannot get wlan0 to show in the ifconfig -a output. dmesg shows the adapter on ugen2.2 usbus2 but that's as far as I can go.

Using a Hawkings adapter instead, I can at least see rum0 & wlan0 in the ifconfig output but it doesn't see the router if I run ifconfig wlan0 up scan & won't connect if I run dhclient wlan0.

Any ideas?

I solved the problem by running a 100 ft cat 5 cable, no more wireless needed.
