How to create a DOS batch file that will make all the .txt files in the current directory read-only?

attrib +r *.txt

Open a command prompt and type in the following.

copy con test.bat
@echo off
c:
cd \your_text_files_folder
attrib +r *.txt

Now press F6, to save the batch file.
