Yahoo's new Home Page format is terrible Rant

Specs: Windows XP
Yahoo keeps messing around with a working format, which only goes to prove that they don't know how to leave well enough alone. Change for the sake of change is a pain to loyal followers. Please don't put our future enjoyment in the hands of a few junior programmers!

You didn't have to upgrade to the new Yahoo mail, you chose to. Changing back to "classic mail" is easy, all you have to do is temporarily disable JavaScript.

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Security tab, click Custom level & scroll down to Scripting. Under Active Scripting, click disable, click OK, then click Apply.

Now try your Yahoo email. Without JavaScript, the new email won't work. Just click on "Return to previous version" & it will automatically downgrade to Classic Mail. Once you've done that, go back to Internet Options & re-enable JavaScript again.

And if you don't want the new Yahoo mail, do NOT click on UPGRADE!

You didn't read my post; I said nothing about Yahoo Mail, which is okay. It's the Yahoo Home page that has changed, and is a PAIN to deal with. I want somebody to tell me how to back out this "improvement", and get back the Old Nicely Layed Out Yahoo Home Page.

If the people at Yahoo redid the homepage, you can't go backwards. It displays however they created it.

"You didn't read my post"

Maybe if you were more clear & stated it was the Yahoo Home page that got your panties in a bunch, I wouldn't have wrongfully guessed that your rant was about Yahoo mail. Oh well, maybe my other response will help some poor soul who's legitimately displeased with the new Yahoo mail.

I don't think that was funny. Someone read my "rant" and drew a conclusion not based on facts. If it's still unclear . . . I DO NOT CARE FOR THE "NEW" YAHOO HOME PAGE FORMAT!!! This is not the first time they've tried changing, and it drew some lively comment . . . none of it complimentary.

My advice is to change to something different, its the surest way to fix the problem. choose something else you like there is something better out there.
